Hi, I’m Will Brusso
I’m a Personal Trainer in Los Angeles, specializing in Corrective Exercise and Injury Prevention. I work with everyone from business owners, to athletes, to weekday warriors, and my own Mom and Dad (they have no choice!)
Ideally I like to work with anyone who’s highly motivated to discover their own version of health and wellness. In my opinion, curiosity is the key to longevity and if you’re willing to explore what might work best for you, than I’m fully invested.
Other than that, I don’t have much to say because everything I can think of to write sounds like some tacky fitness phrase you’ve heard a million times before. However, there are a few Basic Principles I like to follow to help you master your health!
If you focus on your general health, then I’ll focus on teaching you to train optimally. Or, at the very least, tell you when to pick something up and put it down again…

• The BASICS are SEXY:
Nowadays, fad fitness and instagram workouts plague our feeds. The problem with all of these are their lack of compatibility with the general public. They lack nuance to the individual, in other words: May or May NOT be useful for you and your body; and are often times too demanding and unspecific.
The basics are there for a reason and do not come in and out of style like the fads. These are your classic exercises that everyone should know how to do perfectly before moving on to alternate progressions.
I’m all for progress but I’m more for longevity and success. Consistency is key.
• Mobility training is like flossing:
And just as frustrating.
Unlike brushing your teeth however, Mobility doesn’t have to be an everyday thing. But doing it a few times a week rather than waiting two nights before your dental visit is about the right amount of focus.
Mobility allows us to free up space for the right muscles to work together and support each other. We accomplish this by putting all three of the above principles into the following system to the right…—>
• Corrective Exercise is like brushing your teeth:
And if I’m honest, sometimes I’m better at Corrective Exercise than brushing my teeth.
Corrective Exercise is a specialization that works to train your body as a functional whole and to stream line it’s ability to move.
Through Corrective exercise we work to make sure that the right muscles are doing their correct job to make it easier for the body to move more freely and avoid current pain and future injury.
• Inhibit, Lengthen, Activate, Integrate:
Inhibit: telling overactive muscles to stop being so aggressive and wound up.
Lengthen: stretching to ease these tight muscles into finally letting go.
Activate: Isolated exercises used to invite under-active muscles to stabilize and/or contribute again.
Integrate: teaching the body to move through the basics with the right muscles supporting each other to avoid injury and overuse.
